- I made up the name, Philileo because I'm a big fan of Galileo only I'm a whole lot stranger. I'm a combat veteran of the Vietnam war, which I have wriiten about a lot. I've survived natural and man made disasters, malaria, cancer and two strokes. I worked many jobs in my life and my favorite one was as an ophthalmic photograher.
